International Exchange Program
Every year Catholic College welcomes international exchange students from France and occasionally from other countries like Italy, Sweden, Japan, China and The Netherlands. They learn about the Australian way of life and, as an ambassador for their home country, they bring aspects of their culture into our school community. In particular, the French students have been great assistants and helped out our students during the French classes on both campuses.
The photos show a few of our many overseas friends from recent years.
In 2008, the College will again host a number of French students. This year’s exchange students and host families are listed as follows:
Mathilde CALILET (Sienna TOMA)
Nais VERCASSON (Emma BERKELMANS )
Amanda DE GRAVE (Krystal HOLT )
Colin MIQUET (Brooke MAXWELL)
Mattieu GAZENGEL (Nastasia PUDSEY)
Sarah YAKOUB (Jess MAYNE),
Guillaume LORRAIN (Sue BODEY)
Tristan WAGNER (Elly BROADBENT)
Participating in an Exchange program can be a life changing experience. A number of students from Catholic College Sale have participated in Exchange Programs, like Lauren Gray who has been on exchange to Japan.
