Principal's Welcome

Each young person is unique.Principal

For this reason, we strive, at Catholic College, to know and to provide for each individual young person in our care.

Underpinning our well-regarded pastoral care program is the firm belief that young people achieve their best in an environment where they feel secure, valued and affirmed.

The Sion campus, which caters for our Year 7 and Year 8 students, is unique in the local area and assists students with a smooth transition from primary school to secondary school. The opportunities available for our students are many and there for the taking.

Our broad and comprehensive curriculum is responsive to the particular needs of young people and we work hard to provide an environment where students are challenged to go beyond the ordinary, to develop their own unique mix of talents and to be the best they can be.

With a long commitment to social justice initiatives, the College strives to help young people grow in empathy and responsiveness to those in need.

Our teaching, learning, pastoral and co-curricular programs are all enhanced by the extensive physical resources of the College. The Sion and St Patrick’s campuses, the Playing Fields and the Rowing precinct are all located within the city of Sale. The building and renovations program, in which the College is presently engaged, is providing the very best opportunities to our students.
Education is about the development of relationships and the realization of potential. Our aim is for each young person to emerge from our school happy, with a healthy self-esteem, having grown in courage and in compassion for others and appreciative of the importance of striving for personal excellence.
