LibraryThere is a Resource Centre located on each campus of the College.
The Vision of the Resource Centres includes:

  • A welcoming, stimulating and dynamic environment for our school community.
  • The active promotion of teaching and learning.
  • A place that encourages reading on a variety of levels.
  • The teaching of information skills that empower students to become confident, independent learners for life.
  • Current information and communications technology.
  • Resourcing our school curriculum.
  • The O’Connor Resource Centre, located on the St. Patrick’s Campus (Years 9-12) of the College, plays a vital role in providing resources and services to our entire school community – staff, students and parents.
Named after Miss Nell O’Connor, a long time benefactress of the College, our resource centre exists to support the curriculum. To this end, we house a wide variety of teaching and learning resources covering a large range of mediums, from DVD’s and online databases to books and newspapers.
Our Resource Centre provides a fully equipped Audio/Visual Department. This enables students to film and edit productions for assessment, it enhances the curriculum by allowing teachers to deliver their subject content through the use of a variety of electronic mediums and provides the technology for a range of school events, including Masses, sporting events and the Performing Arts Concert.
